3D Printing Day 1: Purpose and Exploration

The idea of having students produce their thoughts through a topic by printing out a final draft is not a new concept in the classroom.  However, having students work collaboratively and independently through research to output a product in the end that is three-dimensional and supports the investigative study, is a newer, up and coming classroom tool.  In this session, you will learn how 3D printing can be incorporated to create a student-centered room that will engage, encourage deep thinking, and reinforce computational thinking for learners.
