Child Nutrition: Food Handler Certification

In this workshop participants will learn about the new and currents laws and regulations concerning the proper handling of food. Participants will also learn how to work properly not only with the handling/preparation of food but also in using equipment, utensils and contact surfaces. By completing this required course, participants will receive the Food Handlers Certification.

Important Session Information:


This class  required for all food service employees to help promote the service of safe food. The class is a basic overview of food safety principles and practices that are necessary to ensure you serve safe food at your establishment. This course also fulfills the state requirement of food employees having a food handler card. Please be aware each participant is responsible for the fee of $20.00 for their Food Handling Card.
