Elementary Mathematics Institute Level I Day 5: Teaching Geometry

Day 5 of 7-Day Institute Must register for all seven days! Investigations and explorations are the basis for teaching geometry at the elementary level. Teachers will be provided with an understanding of the goals, models, vocabulary, connections, and activities associated with the teaching of geometric concepts. The tools of mathematics will be incorporated. The TEKS and STAAR will be emphasized.
