Speech-Language Pathology Statewide Learning Series
The Ethics of Implementing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC): Every Day for Everyone




Continuing education is a requirement for speech-language pathologists (SLPs).  The SLP must stay up to date on the latest in therapy and research. The Speech-Language Pathology Statewide Learning Series is designed to address current issues, best practices and intervention strategies for SLPs in the field.

 


Important Session Information:


Providing a “Language Rich Environment” must include not only receptive language supports, but expressive language access. This presentation will address the ethics requirement speech-language pathologists must meet when serving students with complex communication needs. Learn how to embed and employ universal communication systems for all students.
