This instruction provides the training necessary for certified teachers to add the Driver Education Endorsement to their Teaching Certificate. Teaching Assistants can be certified to teach the In-Car Phase of Driver Education.
This instruction will be taught through various methods including:
• Online Instruction - Using Canvas
• Face-to-Face Instruction
Prior to the start date of the class, participants will receive an email from notifications@instructure.com with instructions for accessing the Canvas website.

Please be aware that there will be two (2) on-side days in Huntsville required for the In- Car Training.
These dates will be set after the course begins.
The online instruction only covers Phase 1 of this program. Phase 2 (Classroom/In-Car Observation)
and Phase 3 (Classroom/In-Car Instruction) must be completed in order to receive your Driver
Education Endorsement.
