Positive Interventions and Effective Strategies for Students with Challenging Behavior
Special Education Summer Series Session




This two day training will focus on building a repository in your school for site-based interventions that are evidence based and/or research based strategies.

Detailed information about specific interventions you can use in the classroom and their effectiveness will be shared with session participants.

Strategies will be shared that address:

  • Social Skills Deficits

  • Tardiness
  • Transition difficulties

Participants will also learn the "Ten Rules that Govern Behavior" along with a behavior planning tool that will help them develop an effective plan for each student.
