The VESTEDâ„¢ Instructional Approach
3-Day Institute: The VESTEDâ„¢ Instructional Approach is a research-based means to deliver instruction in the heterogeneous mixed-ability classroom where students learn and build on the diversity and strengths that they bring to their content area classes.

The VESTED™ Instructional Approach is a research-based inclusion model that provides tools for everyone! This model is designed to deliver instruction in a heterogeneous mixed-ability classroom where students learn and build on individual diversity and strengths. Come learn strategies to engage and motivate students with diverse instructional needs who are in special education, have second language needs, are gifted or simply need a gentle push to perform with better results. Create task chains that facilitate student-owned learning by streamlining learning goals that address the varied requirements related to culturally and linguistically diverse student populations in both the special and general education classrooms.

Important Session Information:

Do you have a plethora of strategies to use with you diverse learners, but don't know exactly where they fit in the lesson? The VESTED Approach, 3-day institute, sheds the light on how to provide quality instruction in the classroom of diverse learners and exactly where different strategies are most appropriate in the lesson.

Districts are encouraged to bring a team of educators representing students served in bilingual/ESL, gifted and talented/advanced academics, special education programs and struggling students. Suggested team members include classroom teachers, instructional coaches/specialists, principals/asst. principals, coordinators, and directors.

The VESTED™ approach simplifies complex instructional process into six manageable steps leading to balanced instruction where all students are served through both universal and differentiated learning experiences. The layered nature of the lesson delivered with VESTED™ addresses multiple student characteristics regardless of any labels students may have such as ELL, gifted, special education student and/or struggler.

Please be prepared to attend all 3 days of this training.  This fee includes all materials to implement this approach in your district.
