Cultural Diversity for LSSPs, LPCs, and Psychologists

In this half-day training, participants will learn how to work effectively with parents from culturally diverse backgrounds whose child has been evaluated and found to have a special education disability. A toolbox of coping strategies to address parent's grief and concerns will be presented by Dr. Charles Schaefer, LSSP. Additionally, Dr. Schaefer will share methods for collaborating with community health/mental health and social welfare agencies, and he will present several case studies for discussion.
