This session provides a comprehensive framework to meet the unique challenges of long-term English language learners. This session helps teachers, administrators, and central office personnel make informed decisions to increase the success of English learners while in school and beyond. As part of a system-wide framework, the following topics are addressed: Assessment of Long Term ELs, Best Practices for Long Term ELs and Meeting Affective Needs of Long Term ELs.
