Child Nutrition: Corrective Actions and Serious Deficiency (CACFP)

What is a Serious Deficiency…Not the end of the World. The USDA FNS allows for a serious deficiency to have a process to allow correction. The correction is the Corrective Action Plan (CAP). The CAP is documentation submitted in writing with details showing that a CE has put internal controls in place to ensure that the serious deficiencies are fully and permanently corrected.
