Child Nutrition: Healthier CACFP Award

This workshop provides an overview of how to participate in the Healthier CACFP grant award. The purpose of the Healthier CACFP Recognition Award is to expand and complement established efforts to improve early child care menus, nutrition education, physical activity and the child care environment. Anticipated outcomes are to improve the quality of foods served; instill pride in contracting entities (CE); recognize the CE's importance; and ease the transition to the proposed CACFP meal pattern.

Important Session Information:

This session will be available at Region 6 Education Service Center in Huntsville, as well as via Distance Learning (DL) or mobile device. If you are planning to view DL or mobile device indicate this during registration by selecting "Participants via Distance Learning". Registered participants can join 30 minutes before each session begins. Participants will not be allowed to join the session 15 minutes after the session begins.
