Speech Language Pathologist's Guide to Vocabulary Intervention




This workshop defines and describes evidence-based strategies to effectively teach target vocabulary words and morphological awareness. Participants will explore grade-level examples for teaching prefixes, base words/root words, and suffixes. The presenter will discuss 15 power words (words with prefixes and roots that are part of over 15,000 words).
