Both Hands-On: Manipulatives Make Connections with Both Sides of the Brain
Secondary Mathematics

How can we help our students with diverse learning differences be successful in Algebra and Geometry? Teachers using manipulatives differentiate and scaffold instruction for all students. This allows learners to tackle and lay the groundwork for the complex math concepts ahead. In this session, participants use hands-on tools to explore the big ideas in geometry and algebraic reasoning. Discover how simple tools and activities expand student thinking. Participants receive the materials from the session to utilize in their classroom.
