The Importance of Teaching Social Skills: Strategies for Teaching and Preparing Students for Success!
Share
Social Skills are important for all students, especially those with special needs. This one day workshop will cover the "why" and "how" of teaching social skills throughout the school day. Participants will learn how Social Narratives help students be better prepared for social situations. Teaching students the use of social language will increase their ability to work with others, make friends, and as adults, to maintain employment. Developing social skills and providing students the opportunity to practice them throughout the day is important to promote the success of all students.
