Strategies for Getting Parents Involved in Educating Children

From Pre-K to 12th grade and beyond, family and community engagement is essential for student success. This workshop will focus on strategies for improving student and school support, encouraging family and community engagement, and developing a Parent/Community Engagement Plan. Participants will discuss ways to help parents overcome obstacles and brainstorm a variety of activities that encourage engagement and help build a strong support system for students.
