Who Me?...Promoting Family Engagement From Start to Finish
Strategies for Getting Parents Involved in Educating Children

From Pre-K to 12th grade and beyond, family engagement and educational support is essential for student success.  This workshop will focus on developing a Parent Engagement Plan, including strategies for encouraging parents to get involved with their child's education.  Participants will discuss ways to help parents realize the importance of their support, learn ideas for helping parents feel welcome and comfortable while visiting your school, and brainstorm a variety of activities for home and school to encourage parents to become an essential part of their child's education.
