Taking the Challenge out of Challenging Behaviors in the Early Childhood Classroom

In an early childhood classroom, one of the greatest obstacles is dealing with students who have challenging behavior. This workshop helps teachers understand why some children struggle with challenging behavior and teaches important skills and strategies for helping all students experience social and emotional success in the classroom.  Teachers will recognize the importance of strong relationships, realize the impact of their own response to student behavior, and learn effective strategies for developing a pro-active classroom environment where student learning is the focus. By implementing these important strategies and skills, teachers will realize that they can take the challenge out of challenging behaviors.
