Learning the various responsibilities of being a Special Education teacher can be overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be! Come learn about effective Admission Review and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, how to feel prepared for an ARD, and how to assemble the numerous pieces of information needed for a student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Present levels of academic achievement and functional performance (PLAAFPs) will be discussed as well as how to write IEP goals that match the student's current areas of need.
