ABA is A-OK! Incorporating Applied Behavior Analysis Principles in the Public School Setting

ABA, DTT, FBA, BIP….Oh My! You may have heard the buzz about ABA, but do you really know what it is and the educational impact it can have on your students? In this training, participants will learn fundamental elements of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), how they may support student IEP goals, and how to apply these elements in the public school setting.

Recognize how ABA principles can:

1) identify function(s) of behaviors

2) decrease challenging behaviors

3) increase student response

Learn how to manipulate antecedents and reinforce student behavior more effectively to impact desired outcomes. Discover how ABA is not a disability-specific methodology but a behavioral science that can help educators look at student behaviors – and their own teaching behaviors – in a different light. ABA is A-OK!
