Speech-Language Pathology Statewide Learning Series
The Ethics of Providing Quality Supervision




Continuing education is a requirement for speech-language pathologists (SLPs).  The SLP must stay up to date on the latest in therapy and research. The Speech-Language Pathology Statewide Learning Series is designed to address current issues, best practices and intervention strategies for SLPs in the field.

 


Important Session Information:


Accepting a supervisory role can be both rewarding and challenging. This presentation will offer practical strategies for setting your supervision experience up for success. Topics will include setting clear, measurable expectations, developing data tools to monitor supervisees’ progress, strategies for handling communication challenges, and ethical considerations. This session will benefit speech-language pathologists who are considering becoming a supervisor, who are supervising, and even those who receive supervision themselves.
