LPAC State Assessment Decision-Making
Available to attend at ESC6 or via distance learning for districts in the Distance Learning fee service




This TEA required training is designed to assist districts as they make decisions concerning the appropriate state assessment to administer to English Language Learners (ELL). Training on LPAC procedures, guidelines, and documentation requirements will be reviewed.

Important Session Information:


Join us to review the latest updates for the 2019-2020 LPAC assessment decision-making process. Focus will  be on the LPAC responsibilities in making informed decisions regarding the appropriate state assessments and accommodations for individual ELLs. Special attention will be given to the accessibility features for all students, and designated supports under the authority of the LPAC.

*Meeting will be available to attend at the Region 6 Education Service Center in Huntsville, as well as via Distance Learning (DL) or mobile device. If you are planning to view via DL or mobile device indicate this during registration by selecting "Participate via Distance Learning".  After registering have your site facilitator contact our Interactive Video Conferencing Department at ivcteam@esc6.net or 936-435-8212 to ensure connection to the appropriate camera or mobile device.  Registered participants can join 30 minutes before each session begins.  Participants will not be allowed to join the session 15 minutes after the session begins.
