Core-Selective Evaluation Process (C-SEP) to Identify Specific Learning Disability
Share
The premise of the Core-Selective Evaluation Process (C-SEP) model for Specific Learning Disability (SLD) identification is that test selection and data analysis are proportional to the complexity of the problem – based on the presenting problem or referral question and the evaluator’s professional judgment in determining what tests to administer. This session will provide information to support professional judgment in selecting which, if any, additional tests beyond the core battery should be administered. Evaluators will be able to do a more in-depth analysis of one or more areas of cognition, oral language, or achievement to aid in SLD determination and provide detailed information to assist in educational program planning.
Important Session Information:
The Core-Selective Evaluation Process Manual used in this training will be provided to each participant.
