Dyslexia and/or Specific Learning Disability (SLD)? Only Your Evaluation Professional Knows for Sure

The 34 Code of Federal Regulations § 300.309  requires the interpretation of data from multiple sources when identifying a Specific Learning Disability (SLD). During this advanced session, participants will learn to analyze data using Cross-Battery (XBASS) software to assist with the identification of a pattern of strengths and weaknesses.  Additionally, a step-by-step process for using the XBASS software will be reviewed with an emphasis on its integration with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Dyslexia Handbook's evaluation and identification for the condition of Dyslexia. Guided practice will be provided.
