ELPS-TELPAS Foundational Training
Be the best TELPAS rater you can be!




This workshop is to assist raters who are new to the TELPAS rating system. It is an overview of the system and provides insight into the TELPAS rating activities to take place in the spring. Content covered includes the ELPS-TELPAS connection, Proficiency Level Descriptors, and rating in the various domains. This provides new raters with a comprehensive look at what it means to be a rater. This training does not replace test administrator training, the required online coursework or calibration that is to take place in the spring.

Important Session Information:


Have you been selected as a TELPAS rater for the spring of 2020, or is there a possibility that you might be selected? Are you wanting better insight to what TELPAS is what is expected of raters. This session has been designed to participants a solid background of the TELPAS rating system. Information from this presentation will facilitate online coursework and calibration required of TELPAS raters. This workshop does not replace those required activities.
