Escape Room: STAAR Review Edition
Grades 3 - Algebra 1




Are you looking for a new way to make your classroom more exciting and engaging, especially as you review and prep for the STAAR exam?  This session allows for students to solve their way out of a "room" by reading through clues and advancing through the math needed to escape. Students will be guided through tasks that allow for individuals, pairs, and small groups to excel at the level needed for success through differentiated activities.  Teachers in this session are lead through the structure of some escape activities, will play through several "rooms", and leave with some planning on their own escape room for their classroom.  Also upon leaving, learners will have access to all the activities and files used during the session to use as is in their own classroom or tweak to fit their individual needs.  Consider the engaging math practice that will occur during an escape not only for the students we teach but for ourselves as we plan for our own escape rooms.

This session is for grades 3 - 5 only.
