Utilizing Balanced Literacy with PreK and K English Learners




Join us for an interactive session utilizing balanced literacy instruction to help English Language learners expand and extend their literacy skills.  Discover how scaffolding learning across the curriculum with familiar best practice strategies promotes the language acquisition of an English Learner. Explore good literature while using play centers , hands-on activities, singing songs, and storytelling to promote the new language.

Important Session Information:


This session will benefit Pre-K & K teachers with ELs in their classroom. Participants will receive a bilingual book resource, " The Bakery Lady/La señora de la panadería"
