Session Detail

Conducting an Annual Migrant Local Needs Assessment
Annual LNA Toolkit Training Available via DL

The Local Needs Assessment (LNA) provides an opportunity to review local data on Migrant students, identify needs, and propose research based solutions to meet those needs. LNA survey results from students, staff and families can be used to inform Migrant Education Program (MEP) applications, MEP services, and ways to improve services to migrant students and their families. LNA results should serve as the foundation for all decisions about services, resource allocation, and staff and parent development.
