Engaging ELL Students and Parents Using IXL in Lessons - Luis Amario Presenter




Region 6 Education Service Center is offering live webinar broadcasts focusing on educational  needs of English Learners. These webinars are designed to provide current information in best practices and services to meet the needs of English Learners in Texas.

Important Session Information:


Together we are better!!  Students engaging with lessons; Parents involved with their child’s academic success.  Come explore with us how incorporating effective strategies using IXL in the classroom lead to Parent Engagement opportunities beyond our imagination.  Students and Parents met their shared academic goals. A Win-Win situation!! IXL is available for use in PreK-12. Luis Amario from Livingston ISD a bilingual first grade teacher will share his experiences.

This virtual session is part of the English Learner Summer Series scheduled throughout the month of

June. To participate, a computer set-up must include internet and camera capabilities. Participants

will receive a Zoom link to join the session and must check in by 1:00 p.m. to receive session

instructions and guidelines.
