Framework for the Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) Process (Training of Trainers)
In-depth training of training on the LPAC process. Available only through distance learning.

For bilingual and/or ESL teachers, counselors, campus administrators, district Bilingual/ESL program coordinators, PEIMS personnel, and parent LPAC members. This training of trainers session is designed to familiarize personnel at any level with the roles and responsibilities of LPAC members. Participants will review the most current policies and guidelines concerning the identification, placement recommendation, testing, entry, exit,
and monitoring procedures for students served in bilingual and ESL programs in the state
of Texas. All districts are required to have a current LPAC in place and operating in their
districts, even those with no identified English learner/Emergent Bilingual students. Training is required annually for all LPAC members.

Are you new to the Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC)? This session is for LPAC members and administrators who may need to provide training in their districts. It is an in-depth look at the LPAC processes and resources.

This session will take place virtually. Participants will need an internet connection and device with a camera and microphone in order to access full participation in this training. A link to connect to the session will be sent to the registrant's email address the day before the session.
