Information:
The purpose for this training is to provide guidance on the successful implementation of a Parent Advisory Council (PAC) and how to properly run a PAC meeting with meaningful consultation, and provide training and resources to assist with procedures. The goal is to make parents feel valued & let them know their voice matters to the Migrant Education program (MEP), strengthen relationships between migrant families & campus staff, meaningful consultation among everyone, and use Robert's Rules of Order & Parliamentary Procedures as the manner for conducting business.This training is an online presentation/meeting and to participate, a computer set-up must include internet and camera capabilities. Participants will receive a ZOOM link at least 24 hours prior to the
session date via email. Check “My Account” on the registration page to ensure your email address in the ESC6 registration system is correct. Recommendation: check in at 8:45 AM in order to begin at 9:00 AM. Participants are not required to create a zoom account however; it is necessary to install the zoom application.
