Other Health Impairment Evaluations
Addressing ADHD in School-Based Other Health Impairment Evaluations

When looking at Other Health Impairment (OHI), school-based evaluators need to understand the difference between a disability condition and an eligibility for Child Find. Evaluators will gain knowledge to understand the evaluation procedures in the Full and Individual Evaluation (FIE) domains that are specific to the identification of OHI and will include information on related disability conditions.

Important Session Information:

ESC 6 is excited to have Dr. Gail Cheramie discuss the dilemmas in the school-based evaluation process for students with ADHD. Participants will leave with the knowledge of conducting comprehensive Other Health Impairment (OHI) evaluations, with emphasis on the ADHD report. A bonus to the webinar will be Dr. Cheramie illustrating concepts with a case study that will develop one’s evaluation knowledge toolbox.
