Asynchronous Instruction Overview

COVID-19 has caused major educational interruptions. But with some operational and instructional adjustments, we can work to create a plan to maximize the online learning opportunities for students unable to return to campus. Defined as a curricular experience where students engage with the learning materials on their own time, asynchronous instruction involves far more than a self guided student instruction. This session will outline TEA's requirements for asynchronous instruction and assist districts in understanding next steps for building a solid asynchronous learning plan.
