Region 6 welcomes Dr. Gail Cheramie as she provides detailed
insight into assessing dysgraphia. This workshop will present the requirements
for the assessment of dysgraphia as it relates to a specific learning disability,
including both formal and informal instruments and procedures. The MARC model
(Mascolo, Flanagan, & Alfonso, 2014) for making recommendations will be
presented. In addition, a case study will be presented to illustrate the
evaluation and recommendation process. Participants are encouraged to have a
case to discuss and time will be given for questions and answers.
This is a virtual event utilizing the Zoom platform, participants are not required to create a zoom account. A computer set-up must include internet and camera capabilities. Participants will receive a Zoom link and handouts via email to join prior to the session. Check “My Account” on the registration page to ensure your email address in the ESC6 registration system is correct. Check-in is recommended 20-15 minutes prior to the start time of the event to allow entry into the session.
