This training is based on the concepts provided by Safe and Civil Schools for classroom and school-wide management practices. Participants will learn strategies to assist with behavior management through a process of identifying and maintaining effective aspects of their current management plan while adding and/or strengthening any missing or less- effective aspects. This training, which is designed to be used by individual teachers or groups, can help any teacher manage student behavior more positively and effectively .
This is a 6-hour virtual course on CHAMPs for teachers who need to address the behavior management needs of students learning either face-to-face, virtually, or in a socially distant classroom environment. This dynamic instruction will be offered from 3:00 to 5:00pm on October 26 (Monday), November 11 (Wednesday) and November 19 (Thursday).
