Introduction and Purpose




Behavior Specialist Network

Purpose:

  • Collaboration across different specialists on behavior practices in the classrooms/homes across school districts
  • Professional Development opportunity by providing a guest speaker or a facilitator to discuss specific behavior practices in the school setting
  • Collaboration with universities providing training and/or research opportunities in the area as it relates to evidence based behavior practices for school staff
  • Networking opportunities for professionals in the surrounding area to foster growth in the quality of services provided for students and educators

Targeted Audience:

  • District Behavior Specialists
  • BCBA school staff
  • LSSPs
  • Behavior Teachers

Important Session Information:


Although these network meetings will be scheduled on a monthly basis, registrants can attend any or all sessions as desired.  Each session may have a different volunteer/guest who will present on specific behavior topics of interest to the participants. Attendees need to register for each monthly session.
