Framework for the Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) Process (Training of Trainers) via ZOOM
Annually Training For Previously Trained LPAC members




For bilingual and/or ESL teachers, counselors, campus administrators, district  Bilingual/ESL program coordinators, PEIMS personnel, and parent LPAC members. This
training of trainers session is designed to familiarize personnel at any level with the roles and responsibilities of LPAC members. Participants will review the most current policies and
guidelines concerning the identification, placement recommendation, testing, entry, exit,
and monitoring procedures for students served in bilingual and ESL programs in the state
of Texas. All districts are required to have a current LPAC in place and operating in their
districts, even those with no identified English learner/Emergent Bilingual students. Training is required annually for all LPAC members.

Important Session Information:


This three-hour session is intended for attendees who have previously participated in an LPAC Training provided by an education service center such as Region 6 ESC. This session will review updated information provided by TEA.

This session will be provided via Zoom. A link to access the training will be emailed to registered participants prior to the session. Please check "My Account" on the ESC registration page to ensure your email address in our ESC6 system is correct and associated with your school district.
