Bilingual Target Language Proficiency Test (BTLPT) - Spanish Preparation Class
Onsite Bryan ISD ONLY




This training will assist attendees in preparation for the BTLPT which is required for bilingual and Spanish foreign language teachers. The session will provide an overview of the types of questions included on the test, specifically the multiple choice questions for listening and reading comprehension, spoken prompts for oral proficiency and written prompts for written expression.  The preparation class is designed using the domains and competencies tested on the BTLPT - Spanish exam (TExES #190) as the requisite knowledge and skills that an entry-level educator in Texas public schools must possess. Participants planning on taking the exam need to be sure that they have met the test registration deadline and registered for the correct exam.

Important Session Information:


This session is designed for individuals who are fluent in Spanish. During the session teachers will receive an overview of the test components to be familiar with the listening, speaking, reading, wand writing tasks expected on the test.
