Session 1: Priming




"Teach! Try! & Talk!"

This series of web-based sessions has been developed with the intent of supporting Life Skills teachers and other staff who work with students who have significant academic or behavioral support needs, including students with autism or low incidence disabilities.

Teach!.. Attendees receive a recorded presentation that focuses on evidence-based and fundamental strategies that can be used for supporting students with significant support needs. Try!... the presentation will include a challenge encouraging the use of the discussed topic with students as appropriate in the classroom. Talk!..Join an online troubleshooting session focused on the Teach! and Try! components and recommended strategies, collaboration, and discussion. 

 


Important Session Information:


Session 1: Priming

Attendees will receive a recorded webinar on an evidence based and recommended strategy to view and practice prior to a live 1-hour webinar for collaboration and Q&A.

The live webinar is a virtual event utilizing the Zoom platform, participants are not required to create a zoom account. A computer set-up must include internet and camera capabilities. Participants will receive a Zoom link via email to join prior to the session. Check “My Account” on the registration page to ensure our email address in the ESC6 registration system is correct. Check-in is recommended 20-15 minutes prior to the start time of the event to allow entry into the session.
