Writing and Visual Literacy for Science & Social Studies

Visual literacy and writing are key components for both science and social studies. We will discuss ways to strengthen your student's visual literacy, which will help with processing stimuli on STAAR tests. Additionally, we will give you easy ways to increase understanding and engagement through writing.

Important Session Information:

If students can teach it and explain it then we know they have learned it! Teach students to synthesize their learning and the information they gather from the world around them so that they can express this both in written and verbal form.
