This year's event will showcase an interview with Temple Grandin! Dr. Grandin shares points she feels parents should be aware of as children grow and learn to become independent.
Region 6 ESC also welcomes Lisa Rogers, owner of Educating Diverse Learners, to discuss simple, useful strategies that will help parents encourage opportunity to develop the skills Dr. Grandin recommends in the interview.
Parent Pre-Conference for the Region 6 ESC's Autism Academy is focused on bringing information and resources to parents of students on the Autism Spectrum. There is no charge for parents to attend!
