Teaching and Learning in a Hybrid World

For students with disabilities, individualization is essential to provide learning experiences that meet their needs and opens access to general education. This session will give teachers tools to use to modify the instructional design in their classrooms----whether they are brick and mortar or remote----to a blended model. In blended models, students learn the same content with differentiation provided online, which removes any stigma from doing work that looks different from everyone else. Learn how, by implementing a blended model, teachers can mitigate losses that can occur when remote learning is mandated. When teachers are able to combine face-to-face instruction with online learning, they are more agile, better equipped to easily design differentiated learning experiences, and adapt quickly to remote learning.

This is a virtual event utilizing the Zoom platform; participants are not required to create a zoom account. A computer set-up must include internet and camera capabilities.
