The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) was created by the Texas Legislature as part of House Bill 3 to provide a realistic pathway for top teachers to earn six-figure salaries and to help attract and retain highly effective teachers at traditionally hard-to-staff schools. This session is for District Leadership Teams to network across districts to gather information and best practices regarding the building of a Local Designation System and other facets pertaining to TIA.

The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) was created by the Texas Legislature as part of House Bill 3 to provide a realistic pathway for top teachers to earn six-figure salaries and to help attract and retain highly effective teachers at traditionally hard-to-staff schools. This session is for District Leadership Teams to network with other districts across the Region 6 area to gather more information and best practices regarding the building of a Local Designation System for TIA. Conversations will be facilitated by ESC 6 staff and meeting minutes will be kept in order to share out with Superintendents across the region. Current TIA Cohort and future Cohort districts are invited to share in the discussion.
