Vineland-3
No More Excuses: Breaking Down the Vineland-3 into Stress-Free Steps

This workshop will provide a comprehensive analyzation of the Vineland-3, a standardized, norm-referenced instrument for the assessment of adaptive behavior. When looking at adaptive behavior measures, the Vineland-3 is considered the optimal assessment for adaptive behavior. It provides evaluators comprehensive knowledge to support evaluations for students that lead to detailed educational planning.

Important Session Information:

Dr. MiMi Gomez will provide extensive training on the Vineland-3 to ensure participants will leave with the knowledge of how to use this test instrument to ensure the completion of a successful evaluation. A portion of the session will be devoted to practicing the fundamental skills of conducting a semi-structured interview, as this skill is needed when giving the Vineland-3. Additionally, Dr. Gomez will review the role adaptive behavior plays as part of a full and individualized evaluation (FIE).

Please note that this session will take place at Region 6 ESC at the Thomas Poe Professional Development Center at 3332 Montgomery Road Huntsville, TX 77340.
