Become an Ambassador for New Student Arrivals

This session is designed to empower educators in providing services to new student arrivals on their campus. This will include how to assist English Learners/Emergent Bilinguals, immigrants, asylees, refugees, unaccompanied minors who may have experienced trauma. 

Important Session Information:


During this session participants will learn how to help students feel welcome, establish communication strategies and to prepare families/students as they start school.

 

This session will be provided via Zoom. A link to access the training will be emailed to registered participants 24 hours prior to the session.  Please check “My Account” on the ESC registration page to ensure your email address in our ESC6 system is correct and associated with your school district.  Arrangements will be made with participants to receive session materials.
