For this November session, it is open to any LEA you do not have to be a Region 6 LEA to register.

For our November Ask the Expert session, Region 6 welcomes all evaluation professionals, dyslexia specialist, and special education leaders to join us as Dr. Gail Cheramie and Dr. MiMi Gomez provides insight and answers questions regarding the updates to Chapter 89 SLD identification and the updates to the Dyslexia Handbook. This session will be divided into two sections, presentation time and Q & A time. Therefore, you can send questions ahead of time that you want to be answered to Suzanne Jones at sjones@esc6.net and she will forward them on to Dr. Cheramie and Dr. Gomez.     

This is a virtual event utilizing the Zoom platform, participants are not required to create a zoom account. A computer set-up must include internet and camera capabilities. Participants will receive a Zoom link via email to join prior to the session. Check “My Account” on the registration page to ensure  our email address in the ESC6 registration system is correct. Check-in is recommended 20-15 minutes prior to the start time of the event to allow entry into the session.
