Day 3 of Project TAPP includes the following presentations:
Presentation 5 (AM Session)Communication- This presentation will focus on different methods of
communication . Participants will learn strategies to explicitly teach and promote socially
appropriate communication, discuss problem behavior as a method of communication, identify
functionally-equivalent methods of communication, and practice skills discussed throughout.
Presentation 6 (PM Session)Creative and Small Group Instruction - This presentation will review
strategies to promote engagement and motivation during instruction, various methods of instruction
delivery, and effectively running small group instruction. Participants will have opportunities to
practice the skills discussed throughout the presentation.
