This session will explore the relationship between state and district requirements for graduation, special education options, PEIMS coding, and the documentation needed to accurately reflect a student’s high school education.
Brynn Biggs will share the whole story of graduation. Participants will examine course codes, credits, and transcripts in order to identify appropriate Academic Achievement Records (AAR) for students receiving special education services. In addition, participants will receive an electronic note-taking guide with relevant references to the Texas Administration Code (TAC), and the Texas Education Code (TEC).
