This session will provide participants with current information regarding legal issues in special education, including analysis of recent due process hearings, court rulings, revised state rules/regulations, and legislative information.

Specifically, participants will receive updated information with regards to school removals, disproportionality, behavior assessment and practices, and/or MDR best practices.


Important Session Information:


Discipline can be a challenge in many aspects, particularly when districts are addressing disproportionality issues.  In this session, Jim Walsh will be addressing administrators questions related to the use of In-School Suspension - particularly for their special education students.
