Circle-Up: Positive and Restorative Practices for Relationship Building and Conflict Resolution Training

This training will provide an overview of the Circles as a restorative discipline practice process, its key assumptions, and essential elements.  Participants will learn reflect on their own values, reflecting on their assumptions, and experiencing community circles. 

As part of the training, participants will receive and review the book Circle Forward: Building a Restorative School Community - including the Supplement Moving Toward Racial Equity In Schools - Starting With the Adults.

Participants will receive a copy of the Circle Forward: Building a Restorative School Community by Carolyn Boyes-Watson & Kay Pranis, including the latest Supplement Moving Toward Racial Equity in Schools - Starting with the Adults

Mark Ybarra, Ed.D. and Fabiana Bezerra, LSSP will be co-presenting this session.  Participants will be able to attend either face-to-face of livestream.

This is a training session open to all staff members interested in using this restorative process methodology.  Presenters will share additional resources, but primarily present on the book above mentioned.
