Migrant Directors and Service Coordinators Training
Priority For Service (PFS) Implementation Process and A Bright Beginning (ABB) Training




This session will offer program coordinators and administrators in Migrant Funded Districts the most recent guidelines and procedures for the Migrant Education Program established by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).

Important Session Information:


This month's Migrant Director and Service Coordinator Training for project districts will encompass two annual trainings. For the first half we will go over the Priority For Service (PFS) and all required activities: PFS Student Progress Reports, PFS Implementation Process, and PFS Action Plan. The second half we will be discussing the A Bright Beginning (ABB) students and breaking down the objectives for the program to include: ABB portal, role of the MEP staff in ABB, Timeline, and ABB Pre/Post test scores. This is a virtual event utilizing the Zoom platform. A computer set-up must include internet and camera capabilities. Participants will receive a Zoom link via email to join prior to the session. Check “My Account” on the registration page to ensure your email address in the ESC6 registration system is correct. Check-in is recommended
10-15 minutes prior to the start time of the event.
