The purpose for these meetings is so that all Region 6 McKinney-Vento Liaisons have the opportunity to receive TEA updates, engage with each other to foster idea sharing, and provide input and needs for regional professional development.
Starting the school year off right, and having the right resources readily available for students experiencing homelessness is imperative! In this session we will go over several McKinney-Vento items such as: TEA Updates, Identification & Enrollment, Homeless Reservation Funds, and much more. This is a virtual event utilizing the Zoom platform. A computer set-up must include internet and camera capabilities. Participants will receive a Zoom link via email to join prior to the session. Check “My Account” on the registration page to ensure your email address in the ESC6 registration system is correct. Check-in is recommended 10-15 minutes prior to the start time of the event.
